How do I register to vote?

• Visit the Georgia Secretary of State's website at http://www.sos.georgia.gov/elections/voter_registration/voter_reg_app.htm
• Complete the Voter Registration Form online or by hand
• Print and mail (no postage necessary if mailed within the U.S.) your completed and signed form to either the Secretary of State or your county elections office

• At the early voting location, you will be asked to complete an Early Voter Application and present valid photo identification

Vote by Mail

If you are unable to make it to your polling site on Election Day, you can submit an absentee ballot to vote by mail. Simply, fill out the application and mail it or drop it off at your county's election office. Absentee ballots must be received by your county election office by the close of polls on Election Day. Please note: Georgia law prohibits anyone other than the voter him/herself from delivering a mail-in ballot.
